"Dr Sana Farhan Barzani was an Assyriologist and renowned translator of ancient cuneiform texts. She was known to pursue her own independent projects, purportedly drawn to bizarre fringe cases that wider academia would avoid.
She went missing in the spring of 1999.
The following pages were sent to me around a month ago and, according to the note attached, are Dr Barzani’s personal notes from the months leading up to her disappearance."
